I’ve noticed something odd about some of the LEDs on my Sub 37. When activating preset 12-15, the adjacent LED also lights up faintly (though it’s clearly not just light bleeding over). The same goes for some of the amp EG LEDs when enabling filter EG switches, and also when using the preset buttons for sequencer purposes. Here’s what it looks like: https://youtu.be/-CoRLhdZTVU.
This only happens for a brief while after starting up, and appears to go away as the synth “warms up”. It has no effect on the sound, but it does bother me a little. Is this normal, or is there something off about this unit? If so, can something be done about it?
Hello there, it could be that the issues originate from flawed firmware. I would recommend installing the newest firmware (again). If that doesn’t help, it may be the best to contact the support of moog. Have a nice day.
I’ve now tried reinstalling the firmware, but the problem persists… I guess I’ll try contacting support to see if there’s anything that can easily be done about it. It is a very minor issue, though, I doubt it’ll be worth a trip to service unless it’s a symptom of something more serious.
