Yes, you can follow @sub37cookbook on Twitter. Every newly added patch is tweeted there automatically.
The cookbook website also offers an RSS feed that you can follow, but I have to admit I didn’t try that out yet
By the way, I also improved the patch submission form: you can now also attach a little MP3 file (max 500kb) if you want, to showcase the patch.
Very nice idea, Hope the site grows like Topsy.
The only problem is…Failed to send your message. Please try later or contact the administrator by another method.
Trying 2 times…Pity.
OK, I tested the patch submission form several times in different browsers (Safari and Chrome on OSX and Windows), with different .syx files, with and without images… it always works.
If course, you have to click the “I’m not a robot” captcha button below, which only works with JavaScript enabled. That’s the only thing I can imagine could go wrong.
And about the login: Since I don’t want the editorial stress (whatever you do, there are always some trolls or spam bots that post crap in the comments), I have disabled comments entirely.
If you have feedback regarding the site or anything else, feel free to drop me a message.
Some minor news: The Sub 37 Cookbook now features streaming audio previews for all patches!
At least for all the patches that I made myself, and for all patches were submitted with an .mp3 file.
Now you can listen to a patch even without downloading it and copying it to the synth!
That is what I did just the way you write it here. Also the Captcha what was also working…Banana. trees. boats…and so on..
Try it many times on different days…Course your idea is good
BUT NOW TODAY…it is working.
It was sending but …I do not see my upload.
In any way…Lets see..
(edit)
O yes…Forgot…a pity that you disabled comments entirely.
In any way…
Btw, Luloop: Comments on the Sub 37 Cookbook are now enabled. Registration not required.
The first comment must get approved by me (you’re identified by email, but the email is not shown on the website).
If you already have at least one approved comment, your new comments will be auto-approved.
For what it’s worth, I was just on KnobTweak, and got registered and everything, but I don’t think the interface is nearly as nice as the cookbook page you made up. Just a lot more pleasant to find patches. Hopefully it catches on! Do people on gearslutz.com know about this? I bet there would be a lot of contributors from there as well.
