Has anyone had luck getting a tight sync with the Sub 37 and Ableton?
I never used Live to sequence before, I always used the Sub 37 or Octatrack sequencer. Since getting Push 2 a few weeks ago I’ve wanted to take advantage of the sequencer on Push but can’t seem to get a tight sync.
My configuration is Ableton sending clock to Elektron Analog Rytm which sends clock to the Sub 37 via Din in, I’ve got a USB going directly from my Mac into the Sub 37 and accepting midi on both USB and Din. I’ve tried sending just the clock from Rytm and the tracking from Live (Tracking ON, Sync OFF, Remote OFF). I’ve also tried turning off the Din in and just having Live send the clock (Sync ON)
The notes play in time with the sequence but the envelopes loose their punch and you notice it especially when trying to make use of the looping envelopes etc. When creating a sequence on the Sub 37 and clock it from Live>Rytm?Sub 37, it syncs perfectly.
Has anyone encountered this issue?
