On the LP gig bag, are the keys or the back “suppose” to be facing the zipper-opening? I’m having a heck of a time getting the unit in there either way, so I’m wondering how it’s actually supposed to fit.

The keys face forward. Make sure the bag is unzipped all the way, you have to slightly angle the bottom end in to the back of the bag ( I think 
) I’ve done it so many times now I have to stop think about it .
Yes, the keys are meant to face towards you. The LP fits very nice and snug in place, and the two velcro straps strap it in very tight.
Speaking of the velcro straps. How does everyone fit theirs across the LP?
Seems like they shoud be crissed crossed (in an X) over the LP. Is this how everone is doing theirs?

For me I feel the LP sits snuggly enough in there that I haven’t used them at all . Actually had to look to see if they were there :):). Now with the Voyager that’s a different story, when I take it out the straps go over it.
At first I wasn’t too impressed, but now I like it - I just put one strap over the lower back part, and one over the keyboard, and away we go!
Top strap right above the dials, bottom strap right across the keys.
