I just received my Moog Music sticker for registering my Moog Voyager (THANKS !). And my Minimoog is missing it’s sticker on the back of the metal panel.
Could someone please messure where this sticker is positioned ?
I replied to this yesterday, but somehow it did not get posted… to review:
I had 2 Minimoogs, one had the sticker on the center left (when looking from the back), and the other had no sticker at all. It is not uncommon to have no sticker in the back from what I have seen.
The sticker on the center left was close to one of the screws that stick out to hold the hinged bracket in place when holding the control panel up. The hinged bracket kinds of scuffed up the sticker after years of being rubbed against the bracket. I think that they later figured this out and moved the sticker further to the left.
I think that the most common placement is on the left side of the back, located about 2/3 of the way up.
Take a look at ebay and start keeping track where the logos appear on the Minis that are up for auction. Many of the auctions have pictures from all angles including from behind, which will show the placement of their Moog stickers. There is one right now that shows what I feel is the most common placement–on the left side, located about 2/3 of the way up.
