Step Sequencer?

I coulda sworn Amos said in a comment that there was a step sequencer somewhere within the T3 software…was I imagining things?

It’s in the pipeline for the next software update (oh yes).

Hopefully one is coming for the Phatty as well

Taurus: if Note Latch and Arpeggiator Latch are both turned on while the arp is running, it acts like a step sequencer. Plays all notes you enter including duplicate notes, in order in a looping sequence. No rests or ties (yet, anyway) but the basic functionality is incredibly fun. Syncs to MIDI or tap tempo, or runs on the internal clock. This exists in the Taurus firmware now.

Yeah, I thought that’s what you said…

Would it be even theoretically possible, in future updates, to save sequences after they’re created?

That actually sounds fantastic.

Yes, something like that is theoretically possible. We’re working on some ideas in that regard…

This would be really great.

Being able to save and play sequences would be superb.

Another feature request: the ability to keep the arp running at the same settings while switching through presets.

Agreed.

I will 3rd or 4th that whatever we are up to

I concur.

If Amos wants to keep adding stuff i’m for anything too.

Hi just bought a Taurus 3 today --the Minitaur gave me a taste to want the T3 as well–has there been any advancement on the Step Sequencer since this note from Amos

Not to my knowledge. We still have basic functionality of the sequencer, which works great, BTW. Haven’t tried the latest firmware update yet either, though. Maybe it’s in the update, maybe it isn’t.
