Standalone Sub37 Editor Window Locking to Upper Left Desktop

In the latest version of the “standalone” Sub37 Editor, the window for the editor locks itself to the upper left corner of my Windows “Desktop” and won’t let me undock it. There’s also no traditional “menu” bar on the Sub37 Editor window. I can resize the Sub 37 window by dragging the edges, but the window itself stays locked to the upper left corner of the desktop.

Am I having a brain fart and forgetting how to do a basic Windows operation  ? The VST version launched from Ableton Live 9.5 does not exhibit this behavior.

I’m using Windows 7, 64-bit, 1920x1080 resolution and NVIDIA graphics drivers.

Thanks,

Hi. That small rectangle window which appears at the left-top corner should disappear after a short second, replaced by the fully appearing Editor window.

Is this the first time you ever run Sub 37 Editor or was any other version installed on the same system before ? There was a bug which shown the same issues, but it has been fixed. You may need to delete the Sub 37 Editor preferences and try again (the bug seemed to corrupt some of the window settings).

I did have a previous version of the Sub37 Editor Beta installed on this machine.

What’s the best method to fully delete the Sub37 Editor Beta preferences, ie do I need to do a registry edit to fully remove certain settings, etc?

Thanks,

Just delete the Sub37 folder under:

Users<username>\AppData\Roaming\Moog Music Inc

That fixed it! Works like a charm now.

Thanks!
