Standalone editor midi output channel?

How do you change the midi output channel on the editor? Channel selection seems to work just fine on USB but not via midi DIN. Without USB connected, the rotary and push switch controls on the editor are sending only on midi channel 1 via midi. So that when I select the minitaur to be channel 1, it does indeed receive adjustments via the panels. But if I select midi channel 2 to 16, then the minitaur will not respond to the virtual knobs on the two panel pages. However, I can change the minitaur’s settings via the editor’s ‘settings’ window - just not the pots and switches.

Are you using the latest firmware?

Yes. But I don’t think it is the Minitaur at fault. The problem seems to lie with the editor. It’s sending midi control changes on channel 1 irrespective of what channel the Minitaur is set to. In other words I don’t know how to change midi channel on the editor.

You are able to change the MIDI channel in the editor in Settings - Minitaur Global Settings - MIDI Channel In/Out

Make sure you are not using a hub on the USB connection, maybe that can make a difference.

Thank you for trying to help.

Yes, this works over USB but, unfortunately, it’s not doing it when the editor is being used with my soundcard’s midi output. The editor’s midi output via the DIN midi socket is stuck on channel one irrespective of what the global settings are set to.
