Hi guys, I’m brand new to the whole Moog scene so I thought I’d start off with a little phatty and all i can say is wow this thing can pump out some awsome sounds. I’m just having one problem with it. I just got the new stage II edition (with usb, arpeggiator, etc) and am noticing a flaw in the programming where the manual says it can do one thing and it clearly cannot. I am talking about the modulation controller. It says in the new stage II manual that you can set the LFO to sync with a midi tempo signal which it definitely can. But it also mentions using the modulation control to cycle through the different clock dividers for the LFO (you know the 15 clock divisions im talking about?) It says right in the manual that i can use that mod-knob to change the clock divisions during a live performance but it simply doesn’t work. It locks the LFO clock divisions to the set increment (chosen in master mode). Now i’ve read through the forums and have seen similar posts where people want to use this feature, and the programmers from Moog have replied and stated that they will be including such a feature in the next firmware version. My worry is that I have a defective model because as far as I am concerned i have the latest firmware (since it mentions the feature in the manual that came with my LP). Could anyone tell me if they have released that feature yet? and if so is there something i might be missing in terms of settings? ive followed the manual word for word and it just does not work like the manual says it should. I really hope i don’t have a defective model cause I waited two months for this thing! Anyways any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks again.
