and executed the resulting ‘Sub Phatty Editor Installer–OSX.pkg’ file to install version 2.0.0b1 on my MacBook Pro. Installation seems to have worked, but the screen that shows the license had a little cosmetic issue: the language dropdown only contained the word ‘Français’ (French) and contained no other options, while the license was displayed in English (and the rest of the installer window was in Dutch, which is my OS language). I think the language dropdown should only contain ‘English’ as an option in this case.
I cannot see any such option when running the installer, but I’m using an English OS… Is it possible that it only loads when the system language is different than English ? Where do you see the selection box ?
Indeed, I noticed exactly the same. The language dropdown only shows Français and the license was displayed in English. The rest of the installer, in my case, is shown in Spanish, my OS language.
I will try reinstalling it again in Windows later, to see if there is a similar issue
I just installed 2.0.0b3, but this issue is still present. I attached a screenshot of the installer window showing ‘Français’ (French for ‘French’) in the dropdown (there are no other choices in the dropdown selector), but showing the license in English.
Also, the window title in Dutch translates to ‘Install Sub Phatty Editor Installer’, which sounds kind of weird as I’m not installing the Sub Phatty Editor Installer, I’m installing the Sub Phatty Editor. Removing either the first or last word from this title would make a better window title.
The window title starts with the word ‘Installeer’, which is Dutch for ‘Install’. So, ‘Installeer Sub Phatty Editor Installer’ translates to ‘Install Sub Phatty Editor Installer’.
I don’t know what the window title is when your OS is set to English, but I’m guessing it’s ‘Install Sub Phatty Editor Installer’ and only the first word is probably automatically added by the OS X installer code. If that’s the case I’d suggest removing the word ‘Installer’ at the end, because then it will make sense in both English and Dutch.
