I just got an SP White last week. Today I was messin about with the Modulation. I found that when I was selecting a destination, whenever I got to “Pitch”, the overall pitch would raise ever so slightly. I turned the Amount down to 0 and made sure the mod wheel was down all the way. I tried it again and got the same outcome. I pulled out my trusty Peterson iStrobSoft app and found that the pitch raises 1.5 - 2 cents when pitch is selected.
Has anyone else seen this? Is this typical of the SP? I used to own an LP and never noticed this before.
Checked via midiox and it does go to zero. Whats interesting is the change in pitch is constant. It’s not effected by the LFO waveshape or rate. The pitch literally jumps 1 - 2 cents only when pitch is selected as the destination. It’s in perfect tune when anything else is selected as a dest.
