Soundtower 2.0 OSX wont load user banks

I’m becoming more and more frustrated trying to get this editor to load user banks that I have saved. Everytime I try and load a saved user bank the dialog box for choosing the file just continues to reappear each time I select the file and nothing is loaded. How difficult can this possibly be as I am obviously not interpreting the manual correctly? I’m using OSX 10.4.5 with RME os 3.2. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Are you using an Intel-Mac ?

No I’m using a G5 Dual 2.0. I’ve sent a copy of a bank file to the Soundtower team as they requested. Thanks for helping.

The ‘Load User Banks’ feature works properly in the original release (I tested this with Mac version 1.07). Clearly, something broke when the software was revised to V2.

Until ST releases a new update, a possible workaround is to use the older version of the Editor to save/restore your patch banks. Curiously, I found that User Banks saved using version 2 did not load into version 1, so I’m guessing that something in the SAVE process in V2 is hosed. Hopefully, ST will have it fixed soon.

Thanks for the note Greg.

The frustratration you have felt trying to get the editor to load user banks previously saved has been address in the latest update. Mark has worked overtime on this and the update should be on the Moog site soon.

Thanks for you patience. I’ll leave this in your capable hands for now Greg . I’ve been busy on a few other projects and have not been checking boards as consistently as I probably should.

I’ll check in more often.
