Help me.
I got Moog e’wave couple months ago. It is my very first time theremin.
The inventor was a genius and the thereminists are the talented musicians.
As we know that the invention was continued and developed by the outstanding company,I hope I get the good instrument that I can stand in learning to play it as a novice,. or at least playing a song as a learner. And yep, I can play some simple tunes.
But unfortunately I need some solutions,. Here are what I’ve got during practice in my room so far.
When I play the instrument a little loud, the sound is not clear enough. There’s background noise when volume level being set loud.
It’s noticeable noise behind the sound of pitch or main tone. It sounds like radio signal, similar to the noise when we change the radio frequency.
I find it begins to occur at more 12 o’clock position on the Volume knob of my etherwave.
I know that the instrument is using radio frequency to make a sound, but the sound should be clear at any volume position.
Why does this happen? Or is there any leak on its electric circuit inside the instrument?
The instrument interferes with the TV at the same time I turn the power on. I ask myself why this happens and wanna solve it but I dunno how.
Moog etherwave is supposed to be a fine musical instrument, not regard it as an interference.I love to play it but I still have to wait the TV off. (the TV is in other room but still in the same house:)
thanks,
