“Caspian” is one of my favorite patches I’ve written; just so soulful. I thought it sounded like something Prince might have used back in the day, so I named it Caspian, after Prince Caspian from the C.S. Lewis novels. Now you know.
The lone song that is on my band’s music page right now utilizes the LP. When you listen it’s the main “melody” square lead.
The bass doesn’t sound that great, as it’s from a Korg in this recording, so I may just re-record it again into a full LP song.
We’ll have a new song up soon too with more LP.
Here’s something I put together this weekend. It needs more work, but I’m at a point where I need to learn more about production before I can move forward.
The sequenced part and the vocoders are Little Phatty. The drone is my microKorg and the drums are the Studio Montreal set that comes with Ableton. I also added the 909 clap for good measure.
EDIT: I tried something to make the vocals more intelligible.
