SOLVED - How do you connect Moog Mother to Arturia Keystep?

I’m connecting my Moog Mother 32 to Arturia Keystep sequencer via MIDI cable. It works, but every time I hit play on the Keystep it triggers the sequence on the Moog Mother.
Do you know how to fix it?
Thanks!

Hello
As far as I know your only option is to change the syncing output on the key step (look at the jumpers on the back and set a combination for a mode other than midi)

This worked for me, in case any of you need it.
Info provided by Moog Tech service:

There are a couple of ways you can control the Mother 32 via CV.

You can use the volt per octave signal from the Keystep into the volt per octave input on the Mother 32 to control the frequency. When doing this, you would also need to send a gate signal from the Keystep into the gate input on the Mother 32. This allows the Keystep to trigger the Mother 32 when a key is pressed.

If you are wanting to send the Mother 32 a clock CV to control the sequencer, you would send a clock signal from the Keystep into the Mother 32’s tempo input.

In the Mother 32’s setup menu, you would need to set the tempo input behavior to step advance mode. This will cause the Mother 32’s sequencer to start and stop when it receives a clock signal via the tempo input.

yes, this is one workaround.

There is an option to disable the transports messages via the keystep “Midi control center” software. Maybe you can try that too.
