Looking for your input as I have a mackie 16 channel for playing live but for home practicing I just want something much smaller bu don’t want something that is noisey. At home I will put the Voyager, Radias and Jupiter 8 though it and maybe 1 more but all listening will be with headphones. (Senn hd 280 pro). I just plan on getting something used and don’t need any fx on the bd. this is just for late night/early morning practicing while everyone else is asleep.
I would like a fairly small footprint if possible.
Mackie 1202VlZ Pro, there are several other choices though.
Take a look at the Samson PL1602 - it’s a 2U rack mount mixer w/8 stereo inputs. No FX, but simple Hi/Lo EQ on each channel pair. Front panel headphone jack w/dedicated volume control.
Rane makes a 1U rack mount mixer called an RM203. Ten mono inputs w/stereo pan and aux send controls on each channel. Front panel headphone jack uses the master volume control to adjust volume. Found a used one at a local GC for $35.
