Why expend money on a polyphonic analog synth when we have a moog and ableton’s wonderful sampler?? lol
Serioulsy, i was thinking about buying a tetra, perhaps prophet 08, but i decided not to be lazy and sampled my instrument. The results are far beyond my expectations, have a listen to those beautiful analog pads!!
I recorded from C1 to C5 20seconds of a raw sawtooth wave for each note. You can record the notes filter sweeped by moog filter too, the results are really cool. You can sample combined waves, whatever u like! If u dedicate ur time to this, u will be rewarded for sure.
It’s a shame that youtube’s compression fucks up the sound a bit.
Well, now i can create a wide range of polyphonic analog instruments with my moog!
Lovely demo! I was going to buy an analog poly too, but you have encouraged me to sample my moog for pads. I might invest in Redmatica’s AutoSampler to make the process a bit easier. I also loved the sounds you were able to get out of that Uhbik phaser. Might have to invest in that too!
Hi there guys! Im really glad u enjoyed and u r getting inspired too! That’s so cool!
I don’t really think that u need to invest money in a sampler, ableton’s is excellent! I tell u that i did’nt spend more than 40 or 50 minutes to record the waves. I just record, drag and drop in sampler, choose the root note and range and that’s it!
U-he effects bundle is really GREAT! NEver heard anything like it!
Hope u guys post ur sampled moog projects here too!
i’ve made another quick demo and posted the link in the other post!
very nice ive done this as well with amazing results. i used my micromoog and roland s-550 sampler and then run it through some moogerfoogers and BLAM! AMAZING!.. not quite as amazing as a true polyphonic analog but pretty close, gets me by for now lol
