Slim Phatty Problem (key always pressed) :(

Hi,
Yesterday arrived my first analog synth! The Slim Phatty! Superb sound, superb analog… but i’ve a curious problem (maybe I’m inexpert and this isn’t a real problems; I simply set it better  ):
My Slim Phatty have this feautures:

Boot V. 1.1
Vers. 3.11 674/31

I command the slim phatty via Korg R3 (a VA synth)… Midi OUT KorgR3 -------> Midi IN Slim Phatty… all right !

When I turn on, the SP is ok, I press various keys of 'R3 and SP works very gooooood!
But after a random time, when I press a key and I leave it, the sound continues (as if the Release of the volume is set to the maximum)… :frowning:If i change preset the sound continues (with max Release) in the new sound…If i press an other key the sound change with new key but if I leave it, come back the previous key (clearly with the same long volume release)…PS: if I move the Sustain Volume (Env. Gen.) to zero the sound stop but if move again to the right, the sound clearly go up (withour re-press the key) and never finish _:frowning:seems that there is always a key pressed !
PS: the situation start randomly affecting all types of presets without distinctions..it is “clearly” in sounds with long sustain or release (like a “pad” sound); the situation is similar in short sound like a lead: if i press an other key and i leave it, start (for a short period in this situation) the old key I pressed…as if there was always a key pressed…ufff…

The only way to solve this problem, at the moment is press 2 times the “Value” knob on the SP (1 time: start the arpeggio, 2 time: come back to Preset Active and release stop)…but after a random time, the problem is repeated !
The keys of R3 are clean and working perfectly (In fact, the sounds of R3 does not have this type of problem and if I try to play some VST this problem is not exist)…The problem that i explain, can happen also with the Piano Roll of Logic Pro 9 (if I press the keys of the Piano Roll in Logic with my mouse when I command the Slim Phatty via Logic )…maybe it’s a particular setting of the Slim Phatty? there is a way to solve this problem?

Sorry for my bad english…I hope to find here the solution !

Same problem here. I’m curious if anyone has any ideas. Thanks!

I’m not alone…

I have this exact same problem as well. Would love to hear if anyone has an answer…

hey guys,
You have the same features of mine (Boot V. 1.1 / Vers. 3.11 674/31) ?!?!?!?!
Probably it’s a problem of that features… :frowning:

When I got mine a month or so ago, I had the same problem. It’s called a stuck note and is something they need to fix. I have read other accounts of this, and it often is related to Korg controllers (mine was too). The problem seems to be caused by Korg controllers sending midi clock. Even though the problem appears to be within the Slim Phatty, you can fix it by disabling your Korg controller from sending midi clock. You’ll have to search through your Korg manual to figure out how to do it, but once you disable the Korg’s midi clock output, the stuck note problem goes away. Good luck!

AWESOME answer…now work perfectly ! Thank u very much ! I love u :unamused: !

I set my Korg R3 in this mode:

EDIT P-42: Midi
Midi Ch: 1
Local: On
Routing: Midi+USB
Clock: Ext. Midi (this feature is the worm  )

Work perfectly ! !
