Firstly I would like to say this synths sound is IMMENSE and I love it. Although there’s a few bugs I have noticed:
Issue 1:

Now I can correct this issue by turning off LOCAL CONTROL … and it all syncs nicely … but then my Octave button on OSC 1 refuses to work until I turn LOCAL CONTROL back ON.
Slightly annoying as that’s quite a fundamental part of using the synth.
Issue 2:
Setting up the Slim Phatty to work in logic properly and record automation properly. (Is this doable)
The way I have it setup @ the mo:
SLIM PHATTY
- SP audio output to input 1 on my sound card
- I have the SP connected via USB for MIDI.
LOGIC
- audio track with input 1 selected (to receive the audio from the SP)
- External instrument with SP Channel 1 selected (SP Is set to in/out midi on chan 1)
Now this works and I can play/hear the sound … but when I start tweaking the filter cut-off I get the Issue 1 described above!! Annoying!!
From what I can gather I maybe doubling my MIDI data? When I switch to LOCAL CONTROL off this all goes away and all the knobs/lights are where they are meant to be… but then i get the non functioning OSC1 Octave button…
Any ideas from you guys ?? Or suggestions??
Do you guys have it setup in a different way to allow you to record automation properly with no buggy dial lights or octave buttons? Maybe someone can list a tut on how to setup a correct functioning setup for Logic?
