a question … does the slim phatty allow you to pass external audio (ie drum machine) thru it & allow you to manipulate the sound using filters etc ..
sure it does 
there’s an audio-input on it which passes ext. audio signals through the filter-overload-vca path.
Once the external signal is “plugged in”, the processed sound is only audible when the gate is open.
Just an FYI for anyone who thinks the LP can be used to process external signals while using it as a melodic/harmonic instrument.
