I downloaded the demo version of the librarian and i noticed that when you first open it, you have to choose between little phatty TRIBUTE or STAGE. There’s no SLim Phatty option, is that normal??
I wanted to know wich option we have to choose to make it work properly with the SP before i spend U$69 on it.
I am very curious whether the demo worked properly for you? I have a Mac OS X 10.7.5 and tried to install the demo but cannot. I choose Stage, but nothing happens. Before I buy the full version, I would like to know whether it works or not.
Never purchased the full version, due to the fact that the demo has EVERYTHING disabled. That is an old trick programmers use to disguise any known bugs in the software. The fact that everything is disabled tells me that the whole program is bugged.
you can use (E)nvelopes in Ableton Live MIDI clips to control parameters directly. Just make a cheat sheet of your favourite parameters and their MIDI CC numbers, and/or record MIDI from the Phatty as you turn knobs, then edit the automation data that is recorded in the envelopes section. That offers you quite a bit of functionality for free with just the synth and Live.
Are the two plugins on the Moog site STILL no good? Shelling out $70/140 for something that doesn’t fully work properly is just silly. Are there no all-in-one VST control/editor/library solutions available anywhere today?
