Should I sell my 104z?

I just pre ordered a 104m…

I could put the $ towards MF-101 and MF-102.

I don’t know if I would regret it later???

from my understanding the 104 has a slightly longer delay and has a little more lofi sound (which I like) than the 104m. but thats it as far as differences go right?

I use my gear exclusively with a DAW so tight delays are what I am after at the end of the day, I can see my self not using the Z as much so to speak, but maybe I will lol… but I could expand my MF collection to… and regret selling it also :unamused:

You might want to wait until the 104m is discontinued. Their value is just dropping like crazy on ebay right now. :confused:

It is so hard to say what will become of MIDI 20 years from now.
CV is going nowhere.
Hold ont that bad-boy.
Right now, everyone is exited because of the new MIDI delay. Only time will tell what happens to the value of the older ones. One thing is almost certain, their value may be at its lowest point right now.

You are right AH, these things will probably fetch good $ from the analog purest one day, I still got the box manual etc :wink:

My MF collection will have to grow slowly for now, I am keeping it.

I’m more excited about tap tempo as I mainly play in rock bands or experimental improv stuffs. The modulation makes me sweat too.
MIDI… Hey Moog guys, I let you the MIDI: will you let the MF-104M go for $150 less?? :wink:
