Shepard Tone on a Sub 37

Hi There

My Name’s Chris, first post and also first day on my brand new Moog Sub 37 and to Moogs Analog synthesis.
Now I wonder if it’s possible to create a Shepard tone on the Sub 37.
I searched the internet but there’s nothing similar, it’s all about Ableton Live and any other DAW.
I work a lot with Ableton with that kind of spooky FX.
But I like to play one with a Hardware Synth.

Best regards Chris

I could be wrong but I think you would need a
Modular with several oscillators to make a Shepard tone with hardware.
One of the Wizards here maybe very well correct me on this. I am no veteran.

Indeed you would need more than 2 oscillators. Plus the control of each of them, volumewise and pitchwise, cannot be achieved with a “simple” Moog synth.
Oh, and it’s better to have sine waves too…
