here’s what i’m currently working on aspiring to, still need to get [strike]the 2nd CP unit[/strike] (ONE DOWN! ), the mobius, and my LP is currently on backorder, but…
i’ll definitely try and post the real thing once everything has come together.
the mock-up unit layout would be from left to right, top → down:
Moog MF-101, MF-102 (x2)
Moog CP-251 (x2)
Neutrik Patchbay

Moog Little Phatty

Moog MF-103, MF-104z, MF-105
Future-Retro Mobius Analog Sequencer
Furman Power Conditioner
(note that one of those foogers would be a mf105, i’m just photoshop lazy)
hopefully moog will have a osc/env gen/amp fooger coming out in the future, that’d pretty much complete a setup like this. just the thought of the possibilities for something like that is mindblowingly cool. the moogerfooger line is like a modular system on steriods in alot of ways. just the ring mod foogers alone are a good example to why; look at the cp units too. you’d have to get alot of different units together to do what just the cp alone can.
i always thought the mobius seemed like a really nice analog sequencer (since moog doesn’t make one currently). have you ever used it in person?
i’m just wondering, as i’ve been looking at it too
yeah, it’s an awesome unit, very versitile for pretty much any analog you can think of, and the interface is way more intuitive than many of the other analog sequencers out there. the price point is pretty inviting too!

F’in A! it’s like don Vito Corleone reincarnated as printed circuits. i feel like i should kneel down with a rosary and recite hail marys. How utterly cool!
