Sequencing the minimoog

Hi all.
I´m new here and I might be about to buy a minimoog d. I have this old Roland system 104 analog sequencer at home that´s very fun to use and I wanted to know if there is any way of using that with the minimoog? I know the moog has this s-trig thing, but I´ve heard there is a special cable you can use when you want to control the minimoog form a cv/gate converter. Would this cable work with my Roland 104 sequencer.

Thanks

First of all, welcome!

Second, I’ve built myself a simple gate-to-S trigger adapter using this schematic:

Very easy to do, requires only one easy to find NPN transistor (almost anyone will do), and one resistor.
Of course to connect to the Minimoog D you would need a 2 pins Cinch-Jones male plug (that you can buy online).

But I’m lazy and just use 2 wires inserted in the plug instead (I just observe the right polarity as this will work only one way)… :unamused:
