Hi all,
I’m trying to play a sequence on my Voyager from a DS evolver (desktop). I can’t get any sound from it. I’m using the stock MIDI settings on both system. The Evolver MIDI out is connected to the Voyager MIDI in. When I turn the preset bank knob on the evolver I can see the midi light blinking on the Voyager, however it doesn’t blink at all when I play the sequence.
Anyone has a clue ?
Thanks for the help!

Hey Mab, welcome to the forum.
I sold my Evolver a long time ago but IIRC the sequencer is only a modulation source, hence not transmitting MIDI.
Anyone correct me.

It should transmit midi, make sure your channels match up, i.e. Evolver out = voyager in
Also, check your voyager sound, that the attack isn’t too slow for the midi notes to trigger as the sequence progresses
ok, I was really dubitative, but I’ve jsut checked in the Evolver manual and it indeed transmits MIDI notes.

OK I actually need to set the sequence destination to midi on the DS evolver.
