Sequencer panel usability

On Mac OS X, in the Sequencer panel.
Some glitches, some wishes.

Start with an empty sequence.

  1. It would be great to be able to tab across the row from step to step. Double click on one value, enter data, tab to next.

  2. It does “something” now. Double click on Pitch 1, enter data or not, press tab, nothing, press tab, and Velocity is selected. Why not also select Pitch 2, and Mod, and R/T/SK/RT?

  3. Keep hitting the tab key, and every nine presses will highlight the next Velocity value. Shift-tab works in the opposite direction. Nothing seems to be selected in between selected Vel values. I was hoping the R/T/S/R square buttons would highlight, and the space bar would toggle their settings.

  4. The faint highlighting is quite subtle for the Rest, Tie, Skip, Ratchet indicators on notes past the Last Step. In the snapshot below, there are 4 indicator boxes turned on.

Thanks, indeed some inconsistency with how TAB key works inside the martix, reported.

I love the TAB idea, it would be great improvement for ARP programming routine.

In Sequencer matrix, was thinking how musical it would be to copy and paste a column or multiple columns into other columns.
