Send midi from Ableton to sub 37 to mother 32 .

Ok so i have an idea i want to see if it’s possible to send midi to my sub 37 on midi channel 1 from ableton , then send midi from sub 37 to mother 32 on a channel 2 , will i have to put the sub 37 in polychain or if i try to play the sub 37 while midi is coming in will it cut the midi coming in , or is this idea pointless and is there another way ?

You can do many different things using that setup. The easiest IMHO is to use the Sub 37 as a MIDI interface and send from the computer MIDI events to both units set to different channels
