// searching through sound category?!

hello there,

is there a way to scroll through all of the preset sounds contained in each particular category individually?

for example check through all the basses without having to listen through to every other sound contained in the other categorys… by holding down the cursor key and pressing the arrows the interface directs through the different banks, A,B,C, etc… surely there is a setting or key which allows searching of assigned category groups?

hope this make sense and if anyone can offer any help that will be great!

thanks.

Press ENTER to jump forward or press ENTER, hold it and press CURSOR to jump backwards.
Have fun,
Rudi

thanks for your quick response rudi, i have tried using the enter and cursor button as you described… doing this takes me back to the last preset before editing it or to the previously used preset… is there a way to scroll through say for instance all of the lead preset sounds if i am looking for a lead for a track to then then personalise? let m know if i am not making sense, thanks again for your help.

OS 3.5 lets you do a category search. You can just go here (http://www.moogmusic.com/selectseries/) and click on the “software” tab to find it.

excellent!

i have now updated to os 3.5 after a couple of hours of panic after removing os 3.4 and not being able to transfer sysex data, urggggh. luckily found some help with this on the forum also…

thanks for your help guys. :smiley:
