further to my problems with the MG-1, here are my rogue issues.
I have a Rogue which is misbehaving quite extensively. Sometimes it’s ok - but the two most common problems are:
losing tuning stability generally, requiring retuning - usually to flatten it, then some time later it will go back to the sharper tuning
being TOTALLY wrong - i.e., you’ll press A to tune it - and it won’t under any circumstances play an A
The tuning wheel will produce something like B > > G but not A!
incredibly frustrating.
Thanks!

p.s. does anyone know how to reverse the note priority on the Rogue? I play the rogue and the MG-1 and the fact that their note priorities are different is maddening.
Sounds like a power supply problem. If one of the rails isn’t regulated the tuning will get funky because the control voltage is dependent on the power rails.
I´ve had a similar problem. After releasing a key in bypass mode the pitch started to rise very slowly to a point beyond the audio band! The power supply board is linked to the main board with a bunch of soldered wires that get a lot of stress when you move the boards around. Resoldering the joints cured this problem.
Well, the manual says 24VAC but in the stock wallwart it says 20. 20VAC is high enough for the ripple to stay above 12V anyway. And it´s rated 0,5A, which is the maximum current the 78M12/79M12 outputs. To check the regulators I put the DMM probes across C39 and C40 pins. They usually read 12V +/- 0,5V.
