Hi, Have just bought RME electric blue v3.3 and would be grateful for some assistance. I previously used a Creamware minimax with the Tom Rhea sound charts and note the voyager’s filter and envelope controls are not like for like slightly different in name and measurement.Cut off is straight forward but is MM contour amt the voyager filter amount and is MM emphasis voyager resonance? Also decay time is lablelled differently. Where would a decay time of 800 be on the voyager control.
Apologies if these are basic questions. PS the minimax is actually a very good piece of kit for the money!
But their range is very different.
The Voyager’s amount of filter cutoff modulation by the filter envelope is zero in the 12 o’clock position. clw get you into negativ amount. This was not available on the minimoog.
