Hi everyone, I just got the Ring Modulator Moogerfooger. I already have the MURF. I am curious if their are any cool ways to configure them other than a simple daisy chain. Can I use the carrier in/out or LFO out to control any parameters on the MURF or vise versa?

Does sending CV to your Murf affect the tempo in any way.
An LFO sent to tap/step in on the Murf will set the rate of the Murf. If you then vary the LFO with another source. (pedal or other CV) then the Murf will stay in time with it. Then add another modulator and control the envelope and you get some really cool effects.
I could cut the tempo in half by manipulating the knobs of the murf. Inserting a CV would also have the same effect. I thought this was something wrong, but when I got my dotcom sequencer, adjusting the width of the gate did the same thing…so it must be a normal effect when you are dealing with digital processors like that.
Im glad to know that the Murf worked fine with an LFO.
