I’m excited about this being made available as an in app purchase for animoog, but when I click on the “Buy for $1.99” button within the Animoog Store (inside the app) I get a “Confirm Your In App Purchase” pop up saying “Do you want to buy one Richard Devine SoundSet for2.99?”
I’d really like to purchase this sound set, but I can’t find the Animoog store. I think I’ve poked everywhere possible in the app and still haven’t a key that enables in-app purchases. Any hints on how to get to the store?
You need to be on the very latest version of Animoog first (v1.0.2) to see this set as available. Go to the Setup page and you’ll see the store bottom of the middle column.
The 1.99 or 2.99 issue has been fixed (before this post was actually approved). But now I’m noticing that not all the timbres are present! I’ve tried reinstalling animoog and repurchasing the sound set to trigger a re-download, but no dice. Can anyone else confirm these are missing or if they have these timbres:
RD-SpectrumHarmonic1 (used in RD Buzz Copter)
AC-StaticPhoneRing (used in RD Evergreen)
MT-DescendingOdd (used in RD Gamma Pad)
Same issue regarding the missing timbres on both the iPhone & iPad native apps.
Another small issue affecting the iPad native App (iPhone is fine)…the version number of v1.0.2 is displayed on the black & green app launch/title screen despite the app being updated & verified as v1.0.3. Like I said, no biggie and just a cosmetic issue.
Note that I did already report this to tech support on the day that v1.0.3 was released.
I looked up iRealB, and it is a universal app, meaning the same app for both iPad and iPhone. Animoog is actually two separate distinct apps for each platform. That’s the key distinction, I think…
One thing I have done with presets is to export from one version of the app (iPad, for example) and import into the other version (iPhone), but I suspect those waveforms don’t necessarily work the same…
it’s no problem to swap presets between versions, as long as the same timbres are available in both they will sound the same. if you import a preset that uses timbres you don’t have, a sine wave will be loaded in place of the missing timbres.
