Here’s a clip of me playing the Voyager with a Ribbon controller I made.

I also posted a clip of me playing some Moogerfoogers with the ribbon controller in the MF forum.

Interesting. How about some details on how you made the RC?

Here’s a thread where I previously posted some info on making ribbon controllers. http://moogmusic.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=4157&highlight=ribbon+controller

there was someone on the forum who was going to build these and sell them - was it you? if so how did your sales go and any intent of making more?

I’ve built about a dozen in three different models. I’ve sold two in the last week of the present model and another one is up for auction here. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=190192407777&ssPageName=ADME:L:LCA:US:1123

Let me know if you have any questions.

You know, one of the grossest things I even heard came from my friend who happend to be an MOOG tech and I think HE learned it from David Sancious (Bruce’s original keyboard player). He said that the best way to keep your ribbon lubercated was with nose grease. Yep. Nose grease. And a good reason for using it is because most people have an ample supply.

Eww.
