reverse/down sweep MF101

hi ppl
just wondering if any of you guys can tell me how i obtain a reverse/down sweep sound using the cp251 & mf101…??
id read that envelope out into one of the cp251`s mixer inputs and then sending the negative out into the cutoff of the mf101 should achieve this but i must be doing something wrong!!
any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

Check the sertting of your offset on the 251.

should i mention the fact that im trying to achieve this with a bass guitar???

The negative output should do it. Do you have the filter at a high cutoff frequency (since it needs a range to sweep down from)?

id left the cutoff at 250..

The input signal going into the LPF might be too quiet to trigger the envelope. You need a signal that’s loud enough to make the red “envelope” light illuminate and then fade with the attack/decay of the guitar in order to trigger the envelope. Try turning up the DRIVE knob. Be careful that you’re amp is not very loud.

Also, make sure that the AMOUNT knob is set to zero.
