Replace Voyager buttons with 'lil phatty buttons?

Anybody think there would be a technically sound way to replace the Voyager parameter buttons with the outstanding Little Phatty buttons?
The Voyager buttons have been my only functional concern with the instrument, and it looks like Moog and Axel Hartmann found some sweet new buttons.

dr_floyd,

Maybe H.A.L. can tell you

I think that since no one has one yet it would be a question for Amos at Moog. Let us know if it works because that’s a cool idea.

do you mean the red/blue switches that are also on the foogers?

i allways thought that they’d be as sturdy as rock, but one of the switches on my 104SD is noticably looser than the other one, and i’ve been very gentle with the thing, i hate to think what would happen if i treated it in a more casual way.

this pissed me off, because thought i’d be able to use a moogerfooger as a tennis ball and it wouldn’t complain, not that i did or that i would, i just thought they could take anything, and when mine seems a tad loose from my very careful use…

ah, it’s actually fine i guess, i’m just like a worried mother when it comes to my SD

Replace a toggle switch with a momentary plus LED?

Not without a redesign and added components. Don’t count on it.

Hello,

I believe dr_floyd is referring to the V’ger’s momentary parameter select switches directly above the touch plate.
The illuminated switches on the Little Phatty look very close to the the hardware on the Oberheim Xpander/Matrix 12 synths, with the exception of
texture/illumination. Those are actually pretty sturdy, but are larger than
the ones currently on the V’ger, and it would probably require a front panel re-vamp as well as changes to the board below.

Regards,

Lawrence
