Most important change in this version is last used folder location kept for: SAVE AS, Import/Export and Sequence Load/Save.
OSX firmware updater should now run without a problem, so please install and let us know if it works on your systems. It’s very important to verify that on every OSX version. Thanks in advance.
This may NOT be the final version yet. In any case we need to recompile these files, we will send a note and instruct to re-download the version again. Please DO NOT publish these files or provide direct links to them, as it may create a duplication of 1.0.0 versions across the net. The only reason it carries the name 1.0.0 is to make sure we do test what may become the final release.
If no blockers are found, this will be the release version.
The Moog logo Midi indicator does flash while playing the machine keyboard, but not when the data comes from an external kb controller
When on the machine panel mode is selected the editor jobs jump to the right position in the editor. When you select a preset in the editor patch changes correctly and the editor knobs do update. However the synth stays in panel mode (button led on), but of course the physical knob positions don’t reflect the actual sound. To return to the actual panel mode you have to press the preset button and the panel button.
After installation of the Firmware, the Sub 37 Hardware showed a blank LCD screen.
On power cycle the Hardware went into the Firmware install mode again (all LEDs lit up, blank screen)
I think I’m a little stressed now. Will report back when it works again…
OK, the Sub 37 is back to blinking normally. I simply had to reload the FW again.
Both are normal. You indeed update your existing 1.2.0 with the same 1.2.0. We only want to make sure the installer still runs as it’s been changed. The firmware is still 1.1.30 (=1.2.0)
The manual is still being edited, it’s still not the final version.
No, the installer said that it was finished. Otherwise I wouldn’t have interrupted! Maybe there was a MIDI communication problem during the installation. As mentioned, everything is fine after doing the FW install a second time.
I still have this problem reported in the 0.9.55 thread:
Changing a preset on the Sub 37 hardware is not reflected in the Editor, neither by selecting via the BANK/PRESET nor by selecting via the UP/DOWN buttons. In order to have the Editor show the preset selected on the hardware, I must click CAPTURE HARDWARE and wait a about 3 seconds. Changing presets in the Editor is reflected just fine on the hardware.
There is no “disconnected” message in the SETUP page, everything looks just fine
Version 1.0.0 (RC3) / FW 1.2.0
Happens repeatedly in Standalone mode (I hardly ever used the plugin version)
Problem solved!
I was not aware that the Editor actually needs the Sub 37 to send PGM Change messages and therefore MIDI SETTINGS > PGM CHANGE > SEND must be ON for that to work.
Sorry for the noise. Everything fine. Nothing to see here.
