I’m having trouble with the voyager’s release everytime i record into the akai mpc3000.When i’m recording a sequence with the release “on” it sounds fine but as soon as i press stop on the sequencer and try to play it again or record more notes to the same sequence, the voyager’s release turns “off”.I have to turn the switch on the voyager back on again, this happens with any other sequencer i’ve tried it just ends up turning off the voyager’s release once I stop the sequencer someone help me out???
Sounds like the MPC3000 is sending a MIDI CC message turning the Voyager Release OFF.
The Voyager’s Release parameter is MIDI CC#88, where a value of 0-64 is OFF, and a value of 65-127 is ON. Somehow, the MPC3000 is sending a MIDI CC#88 message in the range of 0-64.
Check your MPC manual to see if you can stop the Akai from sending this MIDI command.
