Any recommendations for a rack case for the RME? Id like slots to fit some foggers and the VX units. Im also wondering how I could get this rack unit it convenient place near a midi keyboard for shows. Ideas? Pictures?
You can do something like this case with 6 foogers. Put the RME in the bottom and the expanders in the top.
Set it all on an A-frame.

Envision a 20" cube, with handles on the side.
This might be more than what you are looking for but I bought an OSP mixer rack case for my foogers. It has 20 spaces on the front and 10-12 on the top.
So the benefit of this is that you put the Foogers on the top, and you have plenty of room for jack inputs, even with the top lid on. The foogers take up 6 spaces, the Vx takes 3, the RME takes 5. I think I paid under 400 for it.
I really want a second one for the other 3 foogers (2 of which I have). Get a couple more CP sized modules when they make them and a few sequencers and other modules and Im good.
