quick question about aftertouch

hi all,

just thinking about ordering a reissue after much toing and froing! i will mostly be playing it via my akai ewi wind controller. with my sub 37 i output cc19 from the breath pressure which controls the filter and makes the sub super expressive. i’m thinking the way i could emulate this with the reissue would be to output aftertouch from the ewi breath pressure and use the patch cable on the back from aftertouch to filter cv. am i along the right lines? could someone with a reissue let me know if i’m getting that correct or not?

Think i might have answered my own question by checking the manual. Looks like midi in only receives note on off and number. So doesn’t matter what i send to the mini it won’t be able to affect the aftertouch cv output. Can anyone confirm this by sending aftertouch from another keyboard and seeing if it works? Would really appreciate it! Thanks. Si

(more simply put, does the reissue respond to midi aftertouch)?
