Question for the free CP-251

Hello my friends!
Nice to find a cool moog forum!!!

I just bought a little phatty in order to catch the offer (im so excited) and i want to ask you about that (the free CP-251)!

I bought the phatty from the internet (dv247) and i live in Greece.

Now i need to fill in the form (well, in some days anyway) and send it to the Arbiter Group Ltd.

there are 2 fields in that form that i dont know what i should write … "Dealer Name: Town/City: "

Any ideas?
Should i use the name of the distributor in Greece?
Or the name of the distributor that feeds dvd247?

My guess is that you should fill in the name and adress of DV247. I don’t know for sure though..

To whom did you make the payment for the synth? I would think that would be the dealer from whom you purchased it.

Hi!!!
I buy it from dv247.com … the company name is Digital Village i think.

Also the form writes “You are only required to pay the £9.00 shipping fee from Arbiter to your UK address”

The shipping to Greece will be more than £9.00 for sure.

This is not a problem for me of-course but they may say that is not possible to ship to Greece because i bought it from the UK … you know what i mean :confused:

If I remember correctly, I think Moog ships to the dealer that is located outside the USA and you pay for shipping from the dealer to your location, if its across the country from where you live.
Or go pick it up in person.

I think i should write the name of the moog dealer in my country (the closer dealer to my home) no matter if i buy it out of my country, but im not sure again.

The main UK distributor is “Arbiter” and then Arbiter feed the UK dealers (DV247 in my case).

I went to arbiter’s website and they say that they will ship the free cp251 only to UK. For customers outside UK they have a link to moog US

In this link there are some terms..


1.This offer is only available to retail consumers who purchase a Moog Music Inc. Minimoog Voyager (all models, including the Old School) or Little Phatty (all models) from a Moog Music Authorized dealer anywhere in the world except Brazil and Indonesia.

2.This offer is also not available in countries where there is no Moog Authorized dealer or distributor.

  1. Im ok (got it from UK)
  2. Im ok (there is an authorised dealer in Greece)

After the terms there is a list of worldwide moog dealers
I find the Greek dealer in this list inc. his address.

I dont know what to do.
Already mailed DV, Arbiter, Greek distributor and none of them replied to me.

Edit: Ok the Greek dealer mail me back . He has nothing to do with the free CP as i didnt buy the LP from Greece!

So things are getting better now.
I have to write

  1. Arbiter (the main UK distributor)
    or
  2. DV247.com (One of the dealers of Arbiter)

Or i may to add them both to the form, i thing Moog group will understand what is going on.
