I’ll keep this short. Is it possible to create your own banks/patches on the LP? I’ve been through everything and I can’t find any user space to store patches. Would I need to overwrite factory patches?
Any help is appreciated.
Ps. The LP is awesome. I have the Access Virus, and the Korg Radias, and nothing comes close to the LP for basslines. The best £900 I’ve ever spent!
You are limited to the 99 patches, plus CA or the calibration patch (depending on what version of code you have).
So simply find something that you don’t care about and write it there.
It would be worthwhile to get your hands on a patch librarian (simple public domain/freeware SysEx will work just fine) and that way you can manage a superset of patches on your computer and have a backup.
If you want to spend $$ certainly you can buy the VST software.
The VST in question, is just a VST controller/patch manager for the LP. Lets you save LP sounds inside your DAW/sequencer (if you use one) and then shoot 'em to the LP. NOT a VSTi-synth!
