Does anyone know if the IC chips in a Prodigy are really hard to fine. I know of one that looks like it was pluged into 240vt. Some of the chips are just FRIED…

There are no custom ICs in a Prodigy. Some parts like the CA3080 aren’t made anymore but there should be leftover new stock at places like Digikey or Mouser, and some techs keep a stock of these NOS around or scavenge them from dead synths. Definitely not as rare as SSM or CEM chips.
