Hello, So I’ve had an early model* Prodigy for quite some time now (*only mono out). Recently, when I turn it on, and leave the hard sync off, the second oscillator can’t seem to decide what interval it wants to play at. It will glitch out for about five minutes jumping back and forth between a unison and a 5th. After about 5-10 minutes it will settle down and stop. What I would like to know is whether this is a sign of worse things to come or simply the oscillator warming up. If anyone can shine some let on this issue, I would really appreciate it. Thanks!
How long are you leaving your synth on before you mess with it?
What kind of weather are you experiencing (COldness, snow, or rain?)
After 5 minutes does it remain stable?
Well I’m experiencing cold right now, and it only happens right when I turn the prodigy on, after the 5 minutes it seems to stay completely stable, minus a little bit of drift now and then.
Sounds normal to me. My micro is similar and drifts worse on a rainy and humid day than it does on startup.
Sounds like you have yourself a good Prodigy.
