Problems using Voyager as keyboard controller

I’ve noticed that when Voyager is generating MIDI to trigger its own sound, soft key presses (which result in the lowest MIDI note on value) produce sound.

Pretty-much all my soft-synths don’t recognise the lowest MIDI note on value, so unlike all my other keyboards, playing softly on the Voyager seems to result in no note being triggered.

Anyone else having this problem?

Might it be something addressed by the after-touch hardware fix?

FYI: this is nothing to do with the Voyager itself. It’s a bug in Cubase 4.

I was playing via the DAW with local control turned off and Cubase was effectively screwing up the note on values.
