I just got a new moog and I am having issue with it skipping voices. I can really notice it on percusion patches.
In my sequencer I have it set to trigger every four beats. Instead of hearing 4 notes played in sequence, it seems to randomly choose which voices to trigger. I dont hear a 4/4 beat. I hear a note and then as the pattern loops in my sequencer on occasion ill hear it again,.
Should I return this, anyone know what this could be?
Figured out what was causing this, in my seq, the release wasn’t happening until the very next note, so I had to tighten up the triggers. Another work around I found was to go into the patch options and select “multiple triggers” hope this might help s1 else with similar issue!
What is the output voltage of your trigger/gate? Or are you using MIDI?
BTW, all new Moog synthesizers are monophonic, with only one voice. So it seems that voice isn’t re-triggering properly.
What is your model ? Slim Phatty, Little Phatty, Voyager, Taurus3, Minitaur ?
