Problem with my Sub 37

Hey Guys
I m a bit demotivated.
I keep on reading about Sub 37 problems, of all kind I must say.
I just unpack mine and I have a problem too.
It might be insignificant or irrelevant to most of you.
Specially with all serious issue I read about firmware update and midi.

As soon I connect the Sub 37 to my Tascam 122 start to bzzzzz…
I check and double check cables, but they are ok.
I also use them with my other Little Phatty and they are fine.
So the channels on my Tascam, they all works fine with the Little Phatty but
I keep on get the same noise with the Sub 37.
The Sub 37 works fine also with my amplifier …

Any voltage problem ? compatibility with Tascam ?

PLEASE HELP ! :frowning:

Most probably a grounding issue. Have a qualified electrician check the wiring in your house for ground fault.

Oh, and welcome to the forum !

Try using different outlets, both for your computer, your speakers and your synth.

do you have USB connected from Sub 37 to a computer, at the same time as audio from Sub 37 is connected to the Tascam 122?

If so, disconnect the USB and see if the buzz stops. If it does, then refer to this thread for some ideas about how to solve the ground-connection problem on the USB:

(tl;dr: cover pin 4 on one end of the USB cable)

You could try a hum eliminator. The wiring in my place sucks and some of my gear had a bad buzz, especially with USB connected. I use several of these from ebtech and it works great.
