Problem with my Moog Source

Hi. I am a newbie.I need advise on my Source. I just got it today and learned that when I turn on the unit, a note is always on as if it’s like a note already pressed after power up but there is actually none. I can still play the key board. The problem is like like the decay and release of the initial patch that is the default plays always. I also noticed that all the presets were altered with unuseful sound. Do I need to manually program them or is there a way to reset everything to factory setting?

Your help will be much appreciated.Thank you

There is no factory reset sequence.

However it sounds like the auto trigger is on. One of the sixteen PROGRAM buttons is marked auto trigger above it. This is a “page two” function. To toggle it on/off, press and hold LEVEL 2 on far right of program buttons, then press auto trigger.

As far as the unuseful sounds, you’ll have to manually program them.

Thanks MC. I’ve already tried the auto trigger but to no avail.I am already thinking that this could be a board problem already.

I have done the procedure to solve the “Crazy source” problem of my unit but the perpetual note play is still there. I think there’s an obvious fault in the board. The presets on some programs I can already hear but now there’s another problem. It seems the oscillator circuitry got affected so that the sound that goes out from the synth is now intermittent. This is becoming frustrating.

Anyone who can help?

Thanks
