Hey guys, I really hope you guys are able to help me.
My phaser was so much fun and I love it so much. But one day, the phaser just didn’t work no more. The LFO light was consistently red and there was still sound at the end of the chain but it was though it skipped the phaser. I turned the knob over and over again but there was no response or change in the sound. I played it with my guitar and I tried it with my keyboards too. It just stopped working.
Please help me. I am so freaking out. There isn’t a support centre or something here in Singapore.
It’s hard to say what is going on but it is very easy to take the back panel off. I suggest you carefully unscrew the 4 feet and look inside; mine came with a switch that was not properly connected. It looked ok but checking with a simple voltmeter set to test continuity helped me pinpoint that as a problem with mine, which was easy to fix myself. Good luck!
Try this, it might help. (Or not) Turn it off. (Unplug the power jack)
Insert and remove a TRS plug into each of the jacks a time or two. (Especially the RATE input, since it sounds like that is what isn’t working.) and see if that doesn’t clear it up.
Once, I had a jack hang up and the signal was stopped at that point until I plugged something in a time or two to wipe the contacts clean.
May not help, but it is free and easy to try.
