Presets overwriting other presets while using the editor

I am experiencing a terrible bug in which, when browsing presets on my Subsequent 37 CV, while connected to the editor, a preset will “clone itself” into a neighboring preset and overwrite that preset.

For example, if I am on Bank 1 Preset 1, “Analog Delay” and I click the up arrow or Preset 2 button, “Analog Delay” will copy itself to Preset 2 and overwrite the one that was there. Up arrow again and now I have three copies of “Analog Delay”. There is no confirmation to overwrite anything. My old presets are just gone, costing me a night’s work. This is sporadic behavior. After overwriting three or four presets, the bug subsides and I can load other presets. This only happens when I am connected to the editor in Ableton Live 10 on my Mac High Sierra.

Further experimentation - this only happens when I flip through presets quickly.

If I click the up/down arrows or quickly flip through the Preset buttons, presets overwrite their neighboring presets almost every time.

If I click through the presets slowly (about 3 seconds between each preset change), the bug does not occur.

Attached is a screenshot of what my presets look like after quickly clicking through all the presets in bank 8. Notice all the repeated presets.

I had a similar thing happen with the Minitaur editor in stand-alone mode.

Seems like the same issue I and some others are having: https://forum.moogmusic.com/viewtopic.php?f=21&t=32294

I suspect some weird midi feedback loop (although I have all local control off), and I think this only happens when using midi over USB and the editor is open. I’m currently using a DIN only setup, and haven’t had this issue since. It’s too soon to jump to conclusions however, because I haven’t done any substantial testing yet (due to lack of time…)
